Some month ago, I published a YouTube tutorial how to build a remote stick for your OpenVario glide computer. It´s an ergonomic remote stick designed for 3D printing, leather wraping and at the end you should glue in an aluminium insert.

Insert for 19 mm diameter (aluminium): http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1595630
Insert for 20 mm diameter (aluminium): http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1595627

We use ABS filament and a layer height of 0,3mm and 100% infill.
Check out the tutorial how to wrap the remote stick with leather:

The stick is not certified for aviation purpose, I´m not responsible for any accidents which are directly or indirectly caused by the grip stick. It is strongly recommended to use an aluminium insert for strength reasons and don´t controle the glider with the head of the remote stick!
