The bag for safe storage of bug wipers

The wings of modern gliders ensure that enormous distances can be covered using only the energy in the atmosphere. However, during a long flight day, insects accumulate on the leading edge of the wing, which, as natural turbulators, cause the flow to switch unintentionally from laminar to turbulent. The glider's drag increases, performance deteriorates significantly.

Bug wipers were developed to clean the leading edge of the airfoil from time to time during flight. However, since the intensity of flying insects depends on factors such as the time of year, humidity and outside temperature, the sensitive bug wipers can now be safely stored in the newly developed FlightLVL bug wipers bag when the wipers are not needed.

There is a separate compartment for right and left bugwiper. The bag is closed with a push button. There is also a compartment integrated on the inside of the closure flap, in which accessories such as a additional cleaning thread can be stored. This compartment can be closed with a zipper.
